culinary events to the city at over 220 restaurants! Come and get it at
winterlicious with delicious “prix fixe” lunch and dinner menus along with

tastings and more!
Though
Winterlicious 2018 dates are yet to be announced, but we won’t keep you
waiting. So, here we highlight some of the best restaurants of Toronto that
have a reputation of serving the best meal at this great culinary event.

Lena ~ Get Tricked by South American Cuisine
Lena is a new
restaurant with historic roots and it features octagonal bar on the main floor
as well as quirky patterns and the multi storey venue embraces the building’s
art deco accents.
Lena’s Striking
art deco preserves some of the building’s historic features but has been
upgraded with chic contemporary details including instagram worthy floor tiles.
To accompany the
beautiful decor, the winterlicious menu includes dorade ceviche, braised pork
shoulder.

Miku ~ Innovative Japanese Dining
Experience a new
take on a Japanese traditional staple at Miku Toronto. It may be the first time
you try aburi sushi it certainly won’t be last. For your foray into the flame

Frings’s ~ you’ll want to book this one early!
Fring has caused
a lot of excitement in Toronto since word first dropped that Susur lee and his
sons Levi and Kai are opening a restaurant with Drake involved.
After checking
in we are led down a metal panelled hallway into a dimly lit 150 capacity space
with a large central bar flanked by swanked rounded booths. The Southern Maple
fried chicken was their signature dish in the year 2017 that was made with a
batter of buttermilk, pepper and panko and is served with whipped butter melted
into sriracha maple syrup accompanied by watermelon salad! Yumm!
Auberge du pommier~ Old fashioned uptown retreat!
Auberge du
pommier combines French country charm with high class sophisticated service. enjoy
lunch and dinner to the sounds of xylophone jazz and an array of cracking wood
burning fireplaces in their exquisite dining room.
For their
winterlicious “piece de resistance” we recommend the duck confit croquette made
with torched orange, pickled Niagara pear and parsnips. Bon Appétit!
Vivoli~ The Authentic Italian taste
Vivoli is an
Italian restaurant which offers variety of classic Italian food as well as
authentic Italian pizzas from their wood burning pizza oven. Get your fill of Italian style comfort food at
this eatery on the college street.
If you need some
classic Italian winterlicious menu, make your way to the heart of little Italy
and sit down to an authentic culinary experience at Vivoli. We recommend the Alla Marco pizza with extra
virgin olive oil, mozzarella, goat cheese, grilled chicken, roasted red peppers

Diwan~ Flavours of Middle East
Fill up on Middle
Eastern specialities at this popular Wynford Drive restaurant. Set in the luxurious
Aga khan Museum, Diwan serves up flavourful menu offerings from Middle East,
North Africa and Indian Subcontinent. Try the lamb Mergeuz Ragu with
orecchiette pasta, tomato harissa sauce, Macedonian feta, mint and pine nuts!
Nota Bene ~ a Pricey Vegan Menu!
Nota Bene is a
fixture on Queen St. just west of University. Even as it has become
progressively more casual over the years the food remains some of the city’s
most refined.
There is a
greater emphasis on seafood and vegan dishes and an all around shift to become
more approachable. Dinner here especially with drinks can easily soar into
triple digits, but there is also a menu of bar snacks that can be ordered in
its entirely for $40.
The bar menu
Boasts one of the Toronto’s largest selections of gin and classic G&T in
the house specialty served with a DIY selection of garnishes including grapefruit,
cucumber and hibiscus.
Thoroughbred ~ for large Format Feasts in
entertainment district!
If you are going
out in the entertainment district, this restaurant will keep you satisfied with
lots of vegetarian and locally sourced dishes. Thoroughbred is a bar and eatery
with a house party vibe and a menu featuring snack foods and large format feats.
Owned by Ariel coplan and Jacob Fox, the spot occupies two floors in a
converted house just across from the Scotia bank Theater on Richmond.
The dining room
menu is meant for big parties and the plan is for sprawling seafood dinners.
So, if you want
to host a seafood dinner, thoroughbred might be your best choice!
